Register online and receive a $5 discount. Online registration is available until midnight on Wednesday, April 22nd.
Family Discount
Are you registering 3 or more people in the same household? You will receive a $5 discount automatically during registration.
No T-Shirt Discount
Receive a $10 discount on your registration if you do not want a t-shirt.
Race Day Registration
Race day registration is available starting at 9:00 am CST. It costs $5 more than online registration. We only take cash and checks on race day.
Chip Timed & Race Receipts
Our 5K and 10K races are a part of Run the U.P. Challenge Series presented by Queen City Running Company.
Participate in at least 5 of this series' 12 races to receive a Run the U.P. Challenge medal.
Registration is $5. You must register by July 4th.There is an option to add this to your registration.

Course Information
2026 Possible Change:
We are looking to change the start line to be in the school parking lot outside of the Middle School Gym. All participants will start facing 4th avenue, they will turn left onto 4th avenue and then left again on to Section street. The rest of the course is the same last year.

2-Mile Walk/Run Route
The 2-mile course is a paved route through the local neighborhood. It includes a short part of Lake Drive.

5K Run Route
The 5K course is mostly on paved roads except for a 1/2 mile which goes down Lake Road. There are two challenging hills on the course.

10-K Run Route
This is considered a very challenging course. It is a scenic country & town course with 5.7 miles of blacktop, .5 miles of gravel roads and six challenging hills. Miles are marked on road. Water at 3 mile mark.

REGISTRATION & AWARD CEREMONY
Race day registration and packet pick up and the award ceremony are held in the middle school gym. There are two entrances from the school's driveway.
START LINE - Outside of Middle School Gym
This year we have changed the course so it starts outside the gym.
FINISH LINE - Outside of Middle School Gym
All races finish in the school's parking lot outside of the Middle School Gym.

FAQs
Yes, there is race day registration available starting at 9:00 am CST. It cost $5 more than online registration.
Packets are picked up on the day of the race starting at 9:00 am CST. Packet pick up as well as the award ceremony are in the Middle School Gym.
There are no dogs allowed on the course with the exception of service dogs.
Participants with strollers should start behind all runners and walkers.
Strollers are allowed on the 2-mile and 5K course (has a gravel road) but not on the 10K course.
The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this race. For the safety of all participants, the Norway Spring Classic encourages a headphone-free environment during the running of your race.
Volunteers and spectators will be on course cheering you on and providing directions to help get you to the finish line.
Runner safety has always been, and will continue to be, a top priority for our event. Please be mindful of the other participants and respect the race personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone.
The top three finishers in the women's and men's races for specified age groups receive medals. In addition, the top three finishers of the race overall receive a special statue.
T-shirts are guaranteed if you register 2 week or more prior to the race. After that, t-shirts are available first come first serve.
If we are out of your sized t-shirt and you still want one, we usually have the option available to buy it on race day and pick it up at the school or other off-site location after the race day.
The course has changed for 2026. Both the start and finish line are located in the school parking lot.
All races begin at 10 am CST. Everyone starts at the same time.
Yes. Participants must finish the 10K race within 2 hours.
There is a water station on the 10K course only.
Yes. Every bib number comes with a chip on the back which is used to time your run. The start time of your race is based on the start signal, not the time you cross the starting line.
You can pick up a receipt with your time inside the Middle School Gym after you complete the race.
Superior Timing handles our chip timing.
There are parking lots available across from Fine Arts Center and top of hill, 4th & Chestnut, near school. There is parking allowed on neighboring streets.
Rest rooms are available inside the school building.
Packet pick up and ceremonies are in the Middle School Gym. You can leave personal items at your own risk.
We have been using Superior Timing for over 10 years. You can find race results on their website at https://www.superiortiming.com/category/raceresults/.
The price shown is the total price per participant. We pay the $3 processing fee.
There is an option to pay the processing fee which allows us to raise additional money for the scholarship fund.

Both races have several hills and one gravel road.
Past participants of the 10K say it is a difficult course because there are both steep hills as well as long slow inclines. They say it gets you ready for most anything you would encounter later in the race season in the UP.
